With over a decade of development, marketing, and strategic planning experience, Abigail Humphrey has been responsible for launching and growing numerous successful business initiatives in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. She has held positions as: Director of Alumni Relations, Vanderbilt University – Owen Graduate School of Management; Major Gifts Officer, Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art, Nashville; Assistant Director of Development for Alumni Relations, Latin School of Chicago; Account Executive, Leo Burnett, Chicago; and Director of Marketing and Business Development, Department of Fine Art, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, Chicago.
From brand management and leading inter-agency marketing teams for brands of companies like Proctor & Gamble, to the creation/implementation of development and communication master plans, engagement and cultivation strategies and tools, and leadership development initiatives for top schools like Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, Abigail has tackled many of the most pressing issues organizations face.
Her areas of expertise also include formation and management of boards, donor cultivation, and the management of staff, interns, and volunteers to accomplish organizational goals.
Abigail received a Bachelor of Arts in French and Classical Studies from Vanderbilt University. Her degree also included six months of intensive studies in French Language and Culture, taught in French, at New York University, Paris, France.
